I think the second coolest thing I’ve done so far in the month of July is record one track on my new found love...the banjola.  Second only to seeing the new Harry Potter movie.  Don’t judge me though.  I’m just one of millions of nerds who has turned out in record numbers to support my favorite wizard characters in their fight against evil.  But I digress.

    I’m getting ready for another trip to Colorado next month for the First Annual Banjola Festival happening on August 22nd.  While I’m out there I’ll also be doing a mountain dulcimer workshop on Sunday August, 23 in Louisville, CO at the Arts Underground.  More details on that later.

    As I was saying earlier I just recorded this rough take on banjola yesterday.  I actually finished writing the piece earlier in the morning so it might actually do some more evolving before it gets put on a cd.  But for anyone curious about this lovely instrument feel free to give it a listen below.
