I’ve decided to include a sketchy picture of me walking down a sketchy alleyway for this entry. I don’t know why.
But alleyways and sketchy images of myself are not what I’d like to talk about today. No, no. Instead, I’d like to talk about the snazzy quotes section of this website. I can’t help but feel like it’s a little slanted to make me sound good. There’s nothing bad in there. Ladies and gentleman, it’s time for a change. I’m all for fair and unbiased reporting and I’ve always been a big fan of hearing all sides. It just seems that the group of people that don’t have a favorable opinion of the incredibly awesome and totally not crappy music of Aaron O’Rourke are sadly under represented here. So here’s my idea. I want to hear from those folks who don’t like anything that has Aaron O’Rourke on it or maybe even a dulcimer. Send me your harshest, highly unconstructive criticism to aaron@aaronorourke.com with “Aaron O’Rourke sucks” in the subject line. The best ones will be receiving a free copy of the Aaron O’Rourke Trio debut CD as reward. I don’t know why.
