After being somewhat satisfied with going to my name dot com and seeing a big ole’ honkin picture of my big pasty mug with the eyes that follow you around if you leave it on screen, I have gone back to the classic picture of me from way back when.  I think it shows quite nicely my somber personality with my love of playing in dark places...with very very awkwardly green trees.

   Tomorrow is going to be a big day in the life Aaron David O’Rourke.  Tomorrow I’ll be making a trip to Melrose, FL to drop in on David Beede who will be waiting to hand off the next version of a dulcimer I’ve been co-designing with Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, and koa bevel with radiused ebony fretboard.  Pics soon!
