Bio and Trials....

Upon returning from Kentucky Music Week, which was an absolutely fantastic festival that was kind of a mix of a weeklong dulcimer college and weeklong party, I realized my bio needed an update.  Actually not so much an update as much as a complete redo.  You see, while I was at KMW during the concert having not provided a bio with any real substance to it, the M.C. during the instructors’ concert was forced to read excerpts from my bio as it was on my website.  That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy hearing an in depth comparison of myself to vanilla ice cream or that quite possibly the most substantial line from my bio that was spoken was that sometimes I wish I was born an elf.  But I felt a certain sense of sympathy for the M.C. in being the one to read it.  So in an effort to save all the future introducers of Aaron O’Rourke in a performance setting I decided to finally dig deep and try and say something about me with some substance.  While I’ve been practicing talking about myself in third person in preparation for this day I decided not to go that route.  Just for the sake of getting my jollies I went ahead and left the old bio at the bottom of the 411 page.
One more major change to the website from what it was is the Life section which includes (or will include) Trials and Tribulations in the life or Aaron O’Rourke.  It’s exactly what it sounds like.  A place for me to rant and unlike facebook and twitter, I’m not limited to the number of characters I can type when it comes to spewing even the most absurd thoughts, epiphanies, and moments of my personal life to the masses.    As  the great gamble rogers would say, I just wanted you to know the true story so you’d understand where art comes from...
Still more changes to come in the highly near future in the form of sound clips and video....
